All the components have a clear fresh taste, and the lingering taste is layered, releasing the different flavours and ending with the figs. We would like some cheese with this please!”

Some of our judges’comments write: “Delicious! Lovely,moist and chewy dates with a fabulous crunch of walnut layered through the middle . We’d happily eat our way through the lot!”

Some of our judges’comments write: “An appealing and attractive product with delicious almonds layered through the middle, changing the texture as you bite into it. The figs were sweet, fleshy and moist and the almonds fresh, a little milky and complementing the figs well. Lovely with cheese and a glass of fortified wine!”

Some of our judges’comments write: “An impressive looking sweet with obvious pieces of fruit.  The almonds give a good contrast of texture, the fruit is moist and full of flavour and the chocolate adds an interesting depth.”
